Terms of Use

Please read this first. These are general terms written to cover the ordinary use of SiteDaily. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor. If anything here matters to your business, please take your own legal advice before relying on the App or its records.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SiteDaily ("SiteDaily", "we", "us") covering your use of the SiteDaily mobile app and website ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the App.

You must be at least 16 years old and have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where relevant, your company.

2. What SiteDaily is

SiteDaily is a daily site reporting and workforce record-keeping tool for construction teams. It has two main roles — directors (who run the company account) and gang leaders (who record work on site). The App lets you:

Create sites and assign gangs to them
Record daily logs with clock-in and clock-out times
Take attendance for the crew on each site
Log work entries and day works completed
Record mileage and equipment issues against a day's log
Capture an on-screen signature to acknowledge day works on site
Add the weather automatically at clock-in
Generate and share PDF daily reports

SiteDaily is a tool to help you keep records. It does not manage your projects, give professional advice, or take any action on your behalf.

3. SiteDaily is a record-keeping tool only

SiteDaily simply records the information you enter. We do not check, verify, or guarantee that any information logged in the App is accurate, complete, or correct.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of everything you (and anyone using your account) records — including times, attendance, work entries, day works, mileage, equipment issues, signatures, and any other data. The reports and records SiteDaily produces are for your own operational use and reflect only what was entered.

4. Your account and your company's data

Provide accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
Keep your login details secure and don't share them. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Tell us promptly at support@sitedaily.co.uk if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
The director who sets up a company is the account holder and is responsible for that company's data and for the people they add to it — including making sure they're allowed to use the App for that purpose.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SiteDaily to:

Break the law or help anyone else break it
Enter information you have no right to enter, or that is false or misleading
Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content
Impersonate another person or company
Attempt to access other users' accounts or our systems without permission
Introduce viruses or malicious code, or disrupt the service
Copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App or its data

6. On-screen signatures

The signature feature lets you capture someone's signature on the screen as a convenient way to record acknowledgement on site. It is not a certified or legally-verified electronic signature service.

We make no warranty that a captured signature will be legally binding, valid, or admissible in any dispute or legal proceeding. If you need a legally robust signature, use a dedicated e-signature provider. You rely on SiteDaily signatures at your own risk.

7. Weather information

Weather shown in the App is provided by a third-party service (Open-Meteo) and is included for convenience only. It is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy. Do not rely on it for safety-critical or contractual decisions.

8. Subscriptions and billing

8.1 Free trial and plans

New companies start with a 14-day free trial with full access. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription:

Contractor — £14.99/month
Business — £24.99/month

Prices are in GBP. The exact current price and billing period are shown on the subscription screen before you confirm.

8.2 How billing works

Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store, and charged to your Apple ID.
Your subscription auto-renews at the price shown for the chosen period unless you cancel.
To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings on your device.

8.3 Refunds

Payments are handled by Apple. We do not provide refunds except where required by law or under Apple's App Store policies. Refund requests for App Store purchases are made through Apple.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the records and data you create in SiteDaily.
You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the service to you.
We don't use your content for advertising or to train AI models.
You can export your company's data and delete your account at any time from the Account screen.

10. Service provided 'as is'

SiteDaily is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running, but we don't promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be fixed. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features from time to time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

SiteDaily is not liable for any financial loss, dispute outcome, invoicing or payroll discrepancy, contractual or legal consequence, or other damages arising from your use of the App, its reports, or its data. Reports and records are provided for your own operational purposes only.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, data, or business.
We are not liable for loss or interruption caused by things outside our control, including your device, your network, or third-party services (hosting, payments, email, or weather data).
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Suspending or ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen.
We may suspend or terminate an account, with or without notice, for misuse, breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where we're required to by law.
When an account ends, your right to use the App stops. The sections on your responsibility for data, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law continue to apply.

13. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the App or by email. Continuing to use SiteDaily after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
